NEURODIVERGENT FAMILIES
USING NEURODIVERGENT AFFIRMING PRACTICES
TO KEEP YOUR CHILD SAFE & REGULATED

EXTRA SUPPORT NEEDS

I am proud to work with Neurodivergent families, using Neurodivergent Affirming practices to help your children become confident and safe in the water.

Being neurodivergent myself, and having two neurodivergent children, I understand how hard it is to find qualified people, who understand support needs, to work with your family.

Through my experience as a mom, completing two separate 3 month Early Intervention courses with Marcus Autism Center, and years of play based speech therapy & OT with my children--I bring a well informed, patient and understanding approach to all my clients. Having parents know their children are safe and supported while working with me is my top priority.

PROTECT YOUR MOST VALUABLE ASSET

As the mom of an extremely water seeking Autistic toddler, who was smart enough to figure out all baby proofing & locks at 2 years old in an attempt to get out our pool, but not yet old enough to understand the consequences of drowning, I completely empathize with the anxiety associated with water for neurodivergent families.

Taking control of my children's safety as early as possible, by giving them the skills they need in case they fall into a body of water, is the best thing I ever did as a mom. And I am very passionate about helping other families do the same.

I want your child to be prepared to roll and float, to rest and catch their breath until they have the strength to swim to the edge. I want your child to know how to find stairs, ladders, and skimmers, to help them out of the pool. And in case they fall into a body of water without any of those options, then I want them to know how to lift themselves out without assistance, if they have the gross motor skills to physically do so.
